Recycle Dalat – a project guided by Joy Foundation is honored to be 1 of 2 projects from Vietnam, out of the top 14 projects in Southeast Asia, to receive the YSEALI SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE award. We provide waste treatment solutions in Da Lat and receive cooperation from domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises.
While attending the YSEALI SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE award organized by YSEALI in Kuala Lumpur, the representatives of Recycle Dalat had the chance to meet young leaders from the 13 other projects and participated in a workshop to equip them with the necessary tools, knowledge and confidence to execute projects effectively, explore new ways of thinking about long-term sustainability elements for the community.
Launched in 2013, Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is the U.S. government’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia.
YSEALI Seeds for the Future is a small grants competition for young leaders in Southeast Asia. The competition provides funding
for the region’s most promising young leaders to carry out projects that improve their communities, countries, and the region in the areas of civic engagement, education, economic empowerment and social entrepreneurship, and environmental issues.
YSEALI Seeds for the Future is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and funded through a grant from the U.S. Mission to ASEAN.
