Tran Phung Nghi’s Global Commitment to Environmental Change

After a successful implementation of 3 series of environmental challenges initiated on social networking platforms in 2022, TRAN PHUNG NGHI – The Founder of Recycle Dalat, a member of Global Sharper Dalat Hub, is honored to be among the young people under 25 from Southeast Asian countries participating in the Fall YSEALI ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIP 2022 in Hawaii, USA from August 24 to September 28. The event is a short-term intensive program on topics: positive citizens’ spirit encouragement, environment, and management of natural resources, social enterprises, and economic development; to provide young people with more profound leadership and understanding skills about the United States. Classes will be added by educational tourism, local tourism, leadership activities, and volunteer activities.

In addition, the Recycle Dalat project has been selected in The Climate Reality Project Incubator training program which aims to equip young people with the necessary skills and tools to implement ideas and initiatives into a project which would be sustainable and long-lasting. At the end of the program, Recycle Dalat was honored to receive $ 3,000 in funding for environmentally sustainable initiatives.

In the SSEAYP 2022 program, Tran Phung Nghi is the representative of Vietnam to participate in cultural exchange and discuss with young people from ASEAN countries the sustainable development goals of the United Nations, and how to together develop and initiate those ideas.

Moreover, Tran Phung Nghi is also the representative of Vietnam to participate in the Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge 2022 – the program includes chains of workshops. Spectacularly, the right to access information in the Digital Incubator program together and the support from experienced advisors have improved not only skills but also knowledge which is essential to developing Recycle Dalat.
